Return to Sender" is a short film I wrote, directed, and DP'd at the New York Film Academy 6 week Film Making program in Paris, France. It was filmed at the Adagio Residence in Montmartre, Paris. Andrey Mann was the Assistant Cameraman and Marissa Llano and Natalie Wright were the Gaffers. The actors in the short are Eirini Papantoniou and Andrey Mann. SYNOPSIS: This story of two desperate for human lives which have lost their faith life... But random conflict situation it opens new horizons for the charms of sense of their lives... Conflict creates love, love is happiness - but happiness is not always durable! People meet by accident, something coincides in their lives - and, in the end, they have to encounter the reason to leave, and accept it as a rule, governed by laws of surrounding circumstances. It often happens that human nature demolishes these persuasions extracted in this formula - but, unfortunately, in real life not everything goes the way it's planned - therefore as usual, we have parallel ways, where "not achievable is achieved" - "BUT"...
A feature film screenplay inspired by this short is currently being developed. In the feature the photographer (Roberto Lequeux) makes his way through a swarm of unexpected twists and turns, living out a life altering rollercoaster ride. Unavoidable circumstances force him into alliances with unexpected characters who help him through a most stunningly unpredictable sequence of events, only to finally land with him on a far more capricious and unforeseeable conclusion.
